California Tax Exempt Status Granted

We have received notice from the Franchise Tax Board that our state tax exempt status has been approved. The IRS is in the process of assigning an agent to review our application. According to the IRS website they are quite swamped and this may take longer than we had hoped. We will keep you posted as we know more.

The 2nd Annual Chili Cook-off fundraiser

Mark your calendars for November 8th. Our 2nd annual chili cook-off is almost here! In addition to the chili cook-off pot-luck, this year we will have live music, several country style games for all to enjoy and a special gymkhana style horse riding event. (read more...)

Ringo Update: He can now walk around the Haven

Good news for Ringo. After months of work on his feet he can now walk well enough to get around the ranch. He has good days and bad days, but overall he is making good progress. Ringo now has his own page so you can now keep up with his progress. (read more...)

Rootie’s Story is now posted
You can read all about Rootie’s story and how he came to be a resident of Heavenly Horse Haven. He went from living on the streets of LA to a comfy animal rescue in Palos Verdes. Unfortunately he quickly out grew his new home and was in dire need of home with more room. (read more...)
