The “Cinderella Dinner” as it has become known, was a great success.  Through the support of our guests, Heavenly Horse Haven was able to raise over $3,000 for our animals.  Through extreme penny pinching and donations we were able to put on the whole event, including all costumes, paper goods and food, for about $500.  Many thanks to Hank and Judy Gonzales for donating all of the produce for the evening and to “Mark Huston and the Workin’ Men” for donating an incredible night of music.

The show itself went off without a hitch except for a small wardwrobe malfunction when Rootie’s (the evil stepmother) skirt fell off.  If you missed it, you missed a good time.  Lots of animals, lots of good friends, lots of smiles and lots of laughs.  After the show, dinner was served, BBQ beef brisket, corn on the cob, potatoes, salad and a rootin’ tootin’ ice cream bar.  The band started playing after the show and continued into the night.  It wasn’t too long before the green grass turned into a dance hall.  Many thanks to Taber Adams who donated his time as our official photographer.  Be sure to check out his work in the dinner show gallery.
